For Colleagues

Clinical
Collaboration

Prof. Di Donato offers his surgical expertise within an active collaboration with the referring colleague, contributing to the management of the most complex surgical phases and the definition of the oncologic therapeutic strategy within a shared care pathway.

01
Direct Peer-to-Peer Consultation
Prof. Di Donato is available for direct discussion with colleagues — general practitioners, gynecologists, oncologists, surgeons and other specialists — for the discussion of complex clinical cases and the definition of the most appropriate diagnostic-therapeutic pathway.
02
Clinical Documentation
For a complete clinical evaluation it is useful to provide the most comprehensive documentation available: histology or pathology report (if available) · recent imaging reports: ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET-CT · CD or access to original radiological images · previous clinical documentation and discharge letters · outline of ongoing or previously administered therapies · specific clinical question for which the consultation is requested.
03
Referral Loop — Continuity Model
At the end of the consultation or of any surgical procedure, a detailed clinical report is sent to the referring physician, including indications on the therapeutic pathway and follow-up. This specialist collaboration model ensures continuity of care, allowing the patient to access highly specialized surgical expertise without interrupting the trusted relationship with her local medical network.
